Ban cruel traps in New Mexico

In response to a campaign by the Sierra Club, New Mexico is considering a ban on notoriously cruel leghold traps and snares. Please contact the Director of the Game and Fish Department of New Mexico and urge him to ban these inhumane and indiscriminate trapping methods.

Leghold traps have already been banned in more than 80 countries, including Israel, and several U.S. states. Judaism opposes hunting and trapping for sport and the use of the cruel leghold trap. Click here to read about Judaism's position on leg-hold traps.
